Mount Pleasant Park, Mount Pleasant Neighborhood, St. Louis City

Location:
Michigan and Dakota

Amenities: playground, outdoor inline hockey rink, picnic tables

Website: http://stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/parks/parks/view-park.cfm?parkID=65&parkName=Mount%20Pleasant%20Park

Playground ground cover: poured rubber

The Mount Pleasant Park is not in the best shape, there are large chunks out of the cement border around the playground - where there is exposed re-bar (see photo below) which is a tripping hazard, especially for young kids. The playground is nice and shaded though and offers a couple slides, as well as 2 baby swings (however 1 was in disrepair when we visited) and 6 sling swings (but 1 was missing and another was in disrepair). There is large open grass areas, and next to the hockey rink there are hopscotch and four square boards painted on the asphalt.
