We attended a 2 hour drop off workshop called Whacky Wednesdays. It was the last one of the summer and each week they featured a different project from pirate ships to sand castles to lions. This particular one taught the kids how to make cake pops and truffles. It was from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and I could have left but I decided to stay and chill out on their comfy green couch.
There were about 18 kids and they were given vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. They had to crumble up the cupcakes, add frosting, and roll them into balls.
Then they added the stick and stuck them in the fridge for a while. While they were chilling they started work on the truffles.
The truffles were made the same way they just didn't add sticks. I don't think they added any filling either.
After the were chilled they dipped them in chocolate and decorated them with the toppings of their choice.
She got to decorate and bring home 4 truffles and 8 cake pops. They're already all gone! They were delicious. The store is too cute, and they have a ton of camps and classes to choose from. My daughter was in absolute heaven.
They serve drinks too!
Look how cute and fun these classes look!
It would have cost us $35 to attend but because we are Kidzxplor members we didn't pay anything. I gave them my name and walked in. It couldn't be easier. If you haven't checked our Kidzxplor you need to! They make having fun EASY!
