Francis R. Slay Park, St. Louis City

Location: 3100 McCausland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63143

Amenities: playground, baseball field, soccer field, tennis courts

Website: http://stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/parks/parks/view-park.cfm?parkID=36&parkName=Francis%20R%20Slay%20Park

Playground ground cover: poured rubber

This park is pretty run down. There are bathrooms but they are very dirty and I wouldn't want to use them. The poured rubber has chunks missing and there is graffiti on the play structure. The play structure itself contains a rock wall, slide pole, 2 slides, and some other climbing features. This park has a very active baseball field and I feel like this play structure was added for the siblings and families of those playing ball. There are also tennis courts next to the playground but I've never seen them in use. It's next to a very busy road (McCausland) so watch that the kids don't run off!
