Metcalfe Park was built on an old quarry landfill and is located at 830 Kingsland.
An interesting fact about this park is that in 1999 MSD was drilling a new tunnel along Vernon Avenue and caused the park to sink 4 to5 feet overnight. The park was restored to its original condition by 2001.
This playground has a bridge, monkey bars, slides, 2 baby swings, 2 sling swings, and no bathrooms.
