Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This playground was neglected and it's nice to see they've made repairs. They added a new sign and new rubber flooring under the larger play structure.

There are 2 play structures, one for kids under 5 and one for kids over 5. The smaller structure has 2 slides and some bars. The larger structure has a rock wall, a chain climber, several slides, and lots of bars and poles. There are no swings here.

There is a drinking fountain but no restrooms. However there is a market across the street, maybe they would allow you to use theirs. Also the playground is enclosed with a fence and a gate! There is some questions about the splash pad though, it used to be functional but doesn't seem to be anymore. I called the parks department to ask them the status and no one has returned my call.

Defunct splash pad boulder

Update: I was just checking on this playground today (6/25/18) to see if the splashpad was up and running, and sadly it is not. The playground is open and in great condition, and this boulder has a spout in it as if it was intended to be a splash pad but no water is coming out. I am going to remove the sprayground tag from this post.
