Vlasis Park, Ballwin- CURRENTLY BEING REDONE

Location: 300 Park Dr, Ballwin, MO 63011

Amenities: Vlasis Park covers 31 acres and features a baseball diamond, a playground, four tennis courts, restrooms, two ponds, one of which is stocked with fish, two pavilions, a walking path, and a sand volley ball court.

Playground ground cover: rubber mats

This park features a huge playground, with areas for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. There are numerous slides, 2 baby swings and 6 sling swings, and lots of places to climb.

The biggest complaint I have about this playground is that the restrooms are not close. They are a bit of a hike up a hill. Also, the rubber flooring has seen better days. But besides that, this playground has a lot to offer and I love the umbrellas providing shade.

The little play structure has a playhouse, a tunnel, a bridge, slides, a chain climber, and some bars and poles.

There are 6 sling swings and 2 baby swings

 This stand up teeter-totter was a big hit with all the kids

The large 3 story play structure has it all including slides, tunnels, chain climbers, rock walls, tire climbers, bridges, and tons of bars and poles.

 These tire climbers are different and my kids loved climbing up them

The splash pad is nothing fancy, just a row of pop jets.  AS OF 2023 THE SPLASH PAD IS NOT FUNCTIONAL

My biggest issue with the splash pad is that it doesn't turn on until noon, and then shuts off every 20 minutes for 20 minutes. Kind of annoying when your kids just want to play in the water and they can't and don't understand why.

The lake has a pretty fountain in the center and it's stocked with fish.
