Chouteau Park, St. Louis City

Location: Corner of Chouteau and Tower Grove Aves., St. Louis, MO 63110

Website: https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/parks/parks/browse-parks/view-park.cfm?parkID=109&parkName=Chouteau+Park

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This is the city's newest park.  It's in between the Central West End and Forest Park Southeast neighborhoods in the area more commonly known as the Grove. The land was dedicated in 2008 after the Laclede Gas Gasometer was torn down. The playground and fitness trail were completed sometime after 2014.

There are 2 sling swings, a baby swing, and an expression swing.

Private dog park

The playground equipment is great! There are lots of things to climb on and there are several slides.

There are floating steps, a rock wall,

Fitness equipment is set up along the trail around the park. The park is 2.8 acres in total but I'm not sure how long the trail is.

Cool mound to climb.

Basketball court

There is lots of street parking but no restrooms so plan accordingly. The original drawings included a splash pad and cafe so hopefully, those will be coming in the future!
