Scott A. Lewis Park, Cottleville

Location: Park Dr., Cottleville, MO 63376

Website: https://www.cityofcottleville.com/parks-and-recreation/scott-a-lewis-park/

Playground Ground Cover: Rubber Chips

"Scott A. Lewis Park is Cottleville's newest addition to our Parks system. This park is named after the former long term Chief of Police/City Administrator who was later elected St. Charles County Sheriff. Sheriff Lewis continues to serve as Cottleville's City Historian. This is a 65-acre park with two lakes. Buchheit lake is 18 acres. The total area of both lakes is 22.5 acres. Kayak and stand up paddle board rentals are available to be used on Buchheit Lake. Rentals are through Rent.Fun app."

Added in 2020, this playground is in the Miralago subdivision off of Mid Rivers Mall Dr. It is designed for children from 2-7 and it's located near pavilion 1.  The play structure has a tunnel, bridge, steering wheel, slides, rock wall, and more. The trail around Buchheit Lake has been extended to the nearby Calvary Church trails which circle around their property near Dardenne Creek. This new trail extension will now provide walkers and riders access to a 2.1-mile loop beginning at Scott A. Lewis Park.
