From the website: "Orchard Park is a beautiful 24-acre municipal park located along Orchard Drive and the South Service Road of I-44. Orchard Park is the home of Reed Field, a magnificent baseball and softball diamond that is used throughout the spring and summer by various softball organizations. Orchard Park provides a wide array of scenery through the natural beauty of trees and decorative landscaping. There is a beautiful 1-mile figure-8 asphalt path that winds its way through the center of this park, along with a regulation-size soccer field, two handball courts, a basketball court, a memorial stage for performing arts, playground equipment, and multiple pavilions that may be reserved for a small fee. Orchard Park also hosts the annual Freedom Festival, the annual Fireworks Display, and our community movies in the park."

The playground equipment was replaced in May 2025, and it's a very large playground now, with all-inclusive equipment.

There is an ADA swing, a sling swing, and a netted saucer swing.

The play structure has steering wheels, interactive boards, ramps, slides, drums, cable climbers, climbing wall, xylophones, bells, a tic-tac-toe board, and more.

Oak Knoll Park, Clayton

Location: 1 Oak Knoll Park, Clayton, MO 63105

Website: http://www.claytonmo.gov/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/14/314

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

Oak Knoll is a very picturesque park with a rich history (you can read it in detail on their website). It's the second-largest park in Clayton, which includes a beautiful little lake with a fountain in the center.  It is home to turtles and ducks you can feed, a sunken garden, and lovely walking trails. Also on the grounds is the Clayton Early Childhood Center. You enter the park off of Big Bend,  and the playground is visible from the parking lot. This playground was redone in 2014. The design mimics nature- there is an acorn you can crawl in, logs, turtles, snails, and a canoe. They have a saucer swing, a modified merry-go-round, and musical instruments. It's an inclusive playground and completely fenced in. The playground is partly shaded, and we love strolling around on the trails and feeding the ducks as well. There is a bathroom building a short walk from the playground.

The lake is pretty, and we love watching the turtles.
