Benton Park, St. Louis City

Location: Bounded by Jefferson Ave, Arsenal St, Illinois Ave, and Wyoming St, St Louis, MO 63118

Website: https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/parks/parks/browse-parks/view-park.cfm?parkID=17&parkName=Benton

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This is a large playground with lots of things to do. There are 4 sling swings and 4 baby swings, a spinning seat, 2 rocking rides (a cricket and a bee), and a bouncy tire thing. There are rock walls, numerous slides, an interesting dragonfly you can climb on, tons of bars and poles, and more. The only negative thing was that there was a homeless man sleeping on one of the covered slides. He scared my daughter and me a bit. There are some other negative reviews online about the park, so it's just something to keep in mind if you take your kids here.

Restroom building. I didn't go inside.

The water feature isn't fancy but it works and will cool you down all summer long.

You can fish in this lake, it is stocked with catfish and sunfish.

Do you know the story about the caves underneath Benton Park? People have been hunting for the entrance for years and it was Finally FOUND!!!!
