Indian Camp Creek Park, Foristell

Location: 2679 Dietrich Rd, Foristell, MO 63348

Website: http://www.sccmo.org/665/Indian-Camp-Creek-Park

Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips, poured rubber, astroturf

Amenities: Camping area, 2 playgrounds, creek, disc golf, fishing (bluegill, bass, and catfish), and multi-use trails.

This park is wonderful for kids of all ages to explore. The main playground is huge! And right off the playground is a path that leads straight down to a creek. I wish we had brought nets and things because you could see little minnows swimming in the water.

It gets really busy on a nice day!

The path down to the creek is easy to find and is a short walk down to the creek. You will see this picnic table on the way.

This is the first playground near the entrance, and it was replaced in 2025. There is a new pavilion also, right next to the playground.

These steps lead up to the restroom.

There is a smaller play structure with just a slide and an interactive board.

And a larger play structure that has bridges, a general store window, a seat, steering wheels, drums, speakers, rock wall, tic-tac-toe boards, bubble windows, gear boards, and more!

The path to the creek is off to the right!

There are 2 sling swings and 2 baby swings.

Modified merry-go-round

If you look at the map, it says there are actually 4 play areas, but the other 2 are just swings near pavilions.

There is also another area that has a lookout and a historical interpretive site, which is a "ghost structure" display of the original log cabin believed to have been built in the late 1800s.

This is the second playground further into the park, and it is amazing. It's huge and has everything. It was built in late 2021.  Some people have expressed concern that it's right next to a lake and there is no fence.

Beautiful lake and trail next to the playground

Restrooms

My kids loved this feature, and I haven't seen it at many other playgrounds. It's a Viking swing! It's a rope that swings forward and back.

A large covered pavilion is right next to the playground.

These rings spin around, and it's fun to try to get to the other side on them.
