Playground ground cover: Poured rubber

Florissant redid this playground in 2021. It is a huge improvement over the old one. It has 2 separate play structures, one for bigs and one for littles.  The John F. Kennedy Community Center is located here and they have a ton of great events throughout the year. The new splash pad is amazing! One of the best in North County for sure. It's completely enclosed with a fence and has a large variety of sprayers and jets.

The new playground is right next to the splash pad. They also redid the restrooms. The smaller play structure has slides, drums, speakers, a small bridge, and pretend window.

There are 4 sling swings and 2 baby swings

There is a free-standing boulder and an old-school merry-go-round.

The large play structure has a bridge, chain climber, rock wall, slides, tic-tac-toe board, monkey bars, and lots of bars and poles.

There are several game tables scattered around the outside of the playground.

  1. Koch Park is a very busy place during the summer. Florissant has a summer day camp program which is very popular. The campers get to use all of the facilities with supervision. In the evening, many ball leagues use the fields, so the park is crowded.
