Charles J. Evola Park, Charlack

Location: 8537 Forest Ave., Charlack, MO 63114

Website: https://www.cityofcharlack.gov/parks

Playground Ground Cover: Astroturf and rubber chips

This used to be the city park but they renamed it in honor of a long-time public works director who died from cancer. The playground was completely replaced in late 2024. The pavilion has 12 tables and is next to the playground and restroom building.

The plays tructure has slides, a maze board, stepping stones, and lots of bars and poles for climbing.

Love this new bridge that goes across the creek to the upper part of the park.

This playground has a boulder you can climb on and some notched logs.

Longview Farm Park, Town and Country

Location: 13525 Clayton Road, Town and Country, MO 63141

Amenities: playground, paved trails, lake, picnic shelter, tennis courts, restrooms, horses, creek

Website: http://www.town-and-country.org/151/Longview-Farm-Park

Playground ground cover: Astroturf

This park is better known as "horsey park" among the toddler set because of the horses here (The horses are owned by Equine Assisted Therapy, an amazing organization). It is a fun place to visit for toddlers because of the awesome playground and the horses, and they also have a creek! This park should be on your must-visit park list.

If the horses are not in the barn, then they are out in the pasture. Kids love to look for them.

The playground is right outside the barn.

The playground was replaced in 2024. The new playground has a section for 5 and up, 2-5 years old, and hillside play.

Free little library

Restrooms and drinking fountain

Covered pavilion with electric grill

There are 2 sling swings, 2 baby swings, and 2 ADA swings

Adaptive merry-go-round

The playground for 5 and up has many opportunities for climbing. There are also slides, webbed climbers, and monkey bars.

This section of the playground has a tractor, some hay bales, and 2 horses to climb on.

The hillside area has a slide, a hill you can roll down, and bead spinners.

These interactive free-standing panels are awesome!

If you walk the path you will come to the creek and the lake.

Catch and release fishing is permitted at Longview Farm Park as long as each fisher is licensed and permitted through the Missouri Department of Conservation (unless exempt per MDC). For more information on licensing and permits, please visit their website: https://mdc.mo.gov/fishing.
