Thies Farm and Greenhouses, Normandy

Location: 4215 N. Hanley Rd., St. Louis, MO 63121

Website: https://www.thiesfarm.com/

This Pumpkinland is almost identical to the one in Maryland Heights, but just a tad smaller. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one. They have tons of haybale fun, a pirate ship, a small petting zoo, slides, pumpkin patch, tractor rides, corn maze, tire swings, zipline, and face and pumpkin painting on the weekend.

Just for clarification purposes, there are TWO different Thies farm companies. Thies Farm was owned by 2 brothers but they split up, so one is now Thies Farm and Market (Maryland Heights) and one is Thies Farm and Greenhouses (Hanley and St. Charles).  All of them have Pumpkinlands and they're all very similar (St. Charles is much smaller than the other 2 locations).

Hoelzel Memorial Park, Normandy

Location: 5501 Bermuda, Normandy, MO 63121

Website: http://www.cityofnormandy.gov/index.aspx?NID=496

Playground Ground Cover: Grass and poured rubber

The Robert Hoelzel Memorial Park is the cities largest park. It features baseball and softball fields, two picnic pavilions, and the playground.

 Restrooms

They have these sling swings and a teeter totter down in the grass away from the playground.

The playground is brand new as of 2017.  It's a small structure and includes 2 slides, bubble window,  rock wall, and stepping stones.

Large pavilion

The Red Schoendienst Field is well used. This park was very well kept and is a popular park for Normandy residents. This is the only Normandy park that has a playground.
