Urban Air, Sunset Hills

Location: 10990 Sunset Hills Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63127

Website: https://www.urbanair.com/missouri-sunset-hills/

This indoor adventure park opened in the fall of 2022 in Sunset Hills. It has a lot of offerings and is best suited for school-aged kids. I chose the platinum level which allowed my kids to do it all. You can pick and choose what activities you want to do, but everyone must buy their socks at $3.50 a pair.

Indoor Playground- They said kids must be under 52" to play here but my kids were well over that and no one said anything. There were a lot of bigger kids in there actually and they don't have an attendant.

Warrior Course- Uneven platforms, rope bridge, tilted walls, hanging rings…and a ball pit to cushion all your falls. My kids loved that the balls looked like bubbles.

Ropes Course- once you're clipped into the harness you can easily pull it in whatever direction you want to go. My daughter found this way easier than the one at Amp Up where you have to clip and unclip each time to change tracks.

Sky Rider- this was my daughter's favorite thing here. It's like a zipline in a harness. You just jump off the ledge and fly across the room to the other side. She said it's really exhilarating!

Spin zone- bumper cars. My son was scared because they have the power to spin you around but you ask them not to do that.

They have a bunch of trampolines with dodge ball, basketball hoops, wipeout, and tumble tracks.

They had ok food, we got popcorn, a pretzel with cheese, and Icees.

Party area

Virtual Reality- up to 4 people can play and you can choose your game.

Urban Fort, St. Louis City

Location: 1854 Russell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63104      314-376-4235

Website: https://www.urbanfortplay.com/

Urban Fort opened in January 2018.  The preferred ages are 0-7 years.

From their website, "We provide a space that encourages our community to play, learn, and gather. Our amazing tree fort, slides, climbing walls, train tables, and playhouses allow your kiddos, aged 0-7, the freedom to create, discover, run, jump, and socialize while you enjoy a comfortable chair and a cup of coffee." Need a Latte? Or a delicious sandwich? Don’t worry! Our sister company, Gather Cafe, has you covered! Check out the menu. Order online or with our friendly staff at Urban Fort! Your meal will be delivered to you. Easy Peasy.

To go play, it's $10 for the first child and $6.50 for additional children. Infants 7-11 months are $4, under 6 months are free and adults are free. They also offer memberships and frequent visitor cards.

In addition to open play, they offer kid and adult classes, workshops, events, and parties. What a great addition to St. Louis!

They please ask everyone to wear socks or shoes, but no bare feet.

They had me at beer and wine.

Yay for their newer fenced-in patio with a water feature! They're gonna add a sandbox also and have other outdoor activities.  It's a great addition to the venue.
