Lions Park, Eureka

Location: 400 Bald Hill Road, Eureka, MO 63025

Amenities: Playground, picnic shelter, tennis courts, athletic fields

Website: https://www.eureka.mo.us/156/Parks-Facilities

Playground ground cover: poured rubber

This is a great playground. There is a very tall 3-story structure for older kids with an enclosed long slide. My 2-year-old was too afraid to climb up there. There is a rock wall and many different climbing things. There are 2 sling swings, one baby swing, and one adaptive swing. There is a very small baby structure that has a slide on it. Another structure is unique and would be for older kids to climb on. There is a nice shaded pavilion nearby as well. This area of Eureka is very kid-friendly and there are actually 3 playgrounds/parks all right next to each other. Drewel, Lions, and Legion Park.

Legion Park, Eureka

Location: 333 Bald Hill Rd., Eureka, MO 63025

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This park has a new playground as of June 2018. There are lots of big umbrellas over it so it's partly shady as well. The only negative is that the restrooms are in the community center, and if that's closed you'll have to go across the street to Lions Park and that's a bit of a walk for little ones.

There is one play structure, and it's got ramps, so it's accessible to everyone. It has bridges, slides, fun activity boards, a rocking boat, rock walls, pretend storefronts, and more. What a great addition to Eureka and a huge improvement over the playground that used to be here!

The old community center is in this park. The Timbers of Eureka is the new rec center, but they still use this building for lots of community events and classes. There are also ball fields here.
