Memorial Park, Brentwood

Location:  8600 Strassner, Brentwood, MO 63144

Amenities: playground, picnic shelter, trail, restrooms, skating rink

Website: http://brentwoodmo.org/index.aspx?NID=497

Playground ground cover: poured rubber, wood chips

This park is nestled in a well-wooded area near the Hanley Industrial Court. There are 2 playgrounds, one for older kids and one for younger kids. You can see the smaller play structure from the parking lot, and the bigger structure is right down the hill. My kids had fun running between the two. The restrooms are very close and clean. There was a variety of things to do here and it's mostly fenced in and protected from traffic.

All in all, I'd say this is a very nice playground. In addition, this park offers a skating rink, pavilions, nature trails, and asphalt trails. And they have a snow cone stand on site!

Brentwood Sports Complex, Brentwood

Location: 9100 Russell Avenue (at the intersection with Bremerton) Brentwood, MO 63144

Website: https://www.brentwoodmo.org/497/Parks

Playground ground cover: Poured Rubber

At 13.5 acres in size, this park is home to the Brentwood Days festival each September and contains a beautifully maintained baseball field, two softball fields, youth soccer field, playground, restrooms, and a pavilion. This playground was replaced in Spring 2019 and it's a huge improvement over what was here.

There is a fence along the wall closest to the parking lot but the entire playground is not fenced in.

Climbing boulders and log balance beams.

Pirate ship!

This area of Brentwood is pretty industrial.

I'm glad they installed some shade for the parents.

The whale is really cool and fun to climb.

This map shows the restroom building circled in red on the right. The playground is circled in red on the left, so you can see it's a bit of a hike. I'm not sure if the restrooms are open year round either. I didn't see a pavilion so I think it's over by the restrooms.

Broughton Park, Brentwood

Location: Corner of Eulalie and Mary Avenues, Brentwood, MO 63144

Amenities: playground, picnic shelter

Website: http://brentwoodmo.org/index.aspx?NID=497

Playground ground cover: wood chips

This park is very small, nestled in a residential neighborhood in Brentwood. The sign says it's for kids 5-12 but it has 2 baby swings, and my 3 year old enjoyed playing here. There are 2 slides, a bridge, and some things to climb on and that's about it. There aren't any restrooms either. When you don't feel like chasing your kids around a big busy park, smaller places like these are nice.
