Located on the west side of town, this park offers an Olympic size swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic tables, barbeque pits, gazebo, restrooms, and playground equipment.

This doesn't look like an Olympic sized pool, but it is cheap at $1 per person.

Here's what it looks like during the summer when it's filled.

Basketball

There are several different playgrounds as you drive through the park.

Lakeview Park, Bonne Terre

Location: 22 Desloge-Bonne Terre Rd., Bonne Terre, MO 63628

Website: https://bonneterre.net/parks-and-recreation/lakeview-park/

Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips

This is a lovely park with 2 playgrounds and a gorgeous lake. This park offers a pavilion, a lighted walking path around the lake, several docks for relaxing and fishing, a loading ramp for small boats, and playground equipment for functions and gatherings. There are also events that take place there including an outside movie showing around Halloween.

The first playground closest to the parking lot has a rocking dinosaur, several slides, and lot of bars and poles.

As you walk around the lake the other playground comes into view.

There were several ducks following me as I walked around the lake.

This playground is larger and has several slides,  a teeter totter, 2 small tunnels, and lots of bars and poles.
