Website: http://www.fentonmo.org/index.aspx?nid=862

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

Amenities: picnic shelters, restrooms, 2 playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer fields, softball fields, trails

This is the first playground you see when you enter the park. It has one play structure and several slides, a rock wall, a speaker system, a bug board, a bridge, and several bars and poles.

This is the pavilion and restroom building next to the playground and parking lot.

Of the 2 playgrounds in the park, the next set of photos is of the playground at the back of the park and was installed in summer 2016.  On this map, it's the playground in the lower left corner between shelters 1 and 2.

This play structure has some stepping stones, a small tunnel, a shop window for pretend play, 2 different slides, a steering wheel, some musical boards, a bridge, and some various bars and poles. The swings are the same; they just redid the poured rubber floor.

Franz Park, St. Louis City

Location: Bordered by Prather Ave, Mitchell Ave, and Glades Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139

Amenities: Playground, picnic shelter, tennis court, fitness trail

Website: http://stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/parks/parks/view-park.cfm?parkID=42&parkName=Franz%20Park

Playground ground cover: Poured rubber and wood chips

The playground is big and has a large play structure with several slides, a bridge, tunnel, and other various climbing things. Right next to the playground were some tennis courts that my kids enjoyed running around in almost as much as playing on the playground. They had 2 sling swings and 2 baby swings and there was a nice covered pavillion and bathrooms nearby as well.

The website says there are horseshoe pits but I didn't see them, they must not have been close to the playground. There is also a fitness area with lots of equipment.
