Go Play Indoor Playroom, Chesterfield

Location: 140 Long Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017

Website: https://www.goplaystl.com/

This new indoor playroom opened at the end of 2023 in the same complex with Hi-NRG, Ultimate Ninjas, and where Chesterfield Sports Fusion used to be. It looks similar to Kids Empire but I think it has a larger variety of things to do, like the light-up board, trampolines, and rock climbing wall. Their website says it's for ages 6 months to 12 years.

Parent area, party rooms, and restrooms

They were still under construction when I visited so I'll update the photos when it's open and cleaned up.

Grandma's Playroom, South County

Location: 9981 Lin Ferry Dr., St. Louis, MO 63123   (314) 270-3291

Website: https://www.grandmasplayroomstl.com/

This venue opened in July 2017 and it is very popular with the toddler and preschool set!

I went primarily to check it out for the blog and didn't expect my kids to like it very much because they are older. But I was pleasantly surprised that they had a blast playing here! We were there for about 90 minutes and no one had asked to leave. I had to finally prod them to leave because it had been a long day and I was tired. People were ordering Uncle Leo's Pizza next door and staying for dinner!

It costs $12 per child and $10 for siblings (adults are free). There is no time limit so you can stay and play as long as you like.

They have a gated area specifically for babies

They have a great train table which my son loved

My daughter LOVED the grocery store. She loves cash registers so we played store for quite a while.

They have several toy kitchens, baby dolls, strollers, and a nice dollhouse with accessories.

Dining area

 Big soft building blocks

Pipe table (not something you see often!)

The flower shop was another huge hit with my kids. My daughter pretended she was getting married and needed flowers. My son loved scanning them and running my credit card through the machine. Then she pretended she was planting the flowers by sticking them in the holes in the flower box and they even have watering cans!

The restrooms and party room are in the back.

I think a party here would be great and the rates are very reasonable!

The other huge hit was the Hot Wheels track. I've been to every open play in St. Louis and no one has a car track set up. Myseum has some track but it's not set up and ready to go on a table. My kids LOVED racing the cars around the track.

They have a table with lights and a whole lot of magnatiles to build with.

My son remembered that he had this toy and loved playing with it!

I love the whimsical paintings on the wall and they even have Crayola crayon ceiling fans. It's a good-sized space, not huge and not small, so you can sit down pretty much anywhere and see your kids and not have to chase them. You can't bring in outside food but they sell snacks and the pizzeria is next door. I think this is a great addition to St. Louis and am really glad they opened this playroom.
