Website: http://www.olivetteparksandrec.com/warson-park.html

Amenities:
  • ball fields
  • BBQs
  • drinking fountain (inside the community center)
  • multi-use fields
  • Off-street parking
  • picnic tables
  • indoor playground
  • restrooms (inside the community center)
  • walking path
  • splash pad

This park houses the community center (Five Oaks). They tore down the old one and rebuilt the new one, which opened in late 2023. The general public can use it for a daily fee if they aren't members.

A large bench for parents to sit and watch their kids.

They have free wifi and coffee too!

Cute tent and building materials for imaginative play.

Art center for crafting, plus books galore.

I hear the slide is fast, so beware!

A splash pad was added in 2025. It's smallish but a nice addition to the park.  There are 4 sections of pop jets, and one will spray for 10 seconds, then the next section sprays for 10 seconds, and it rotates all around.

The play structure is older and has slides, a rock wall, a tic-tac-toe board, a bridge, and floating steps.

There are 2 sling swings and 2 baby swings in this area, and more swings down the hill.

6 sling swings

The playground and splash pad are on the other side of the park from the community center. You can see the center circled in red at the top of the map, and this playground is at the bottom right, circled in red. It doesn't appear to be easy to walk to.

Indian Meadows Park, Olivette

Location: 9625 Huron Dr, Olivette, MO 63132

Website: http://www.olivetteparksandrec.com/indian-meadows-park.html

Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips

Amenities:
  • BBQs
  • pavilion
  • picnic tables
  • multi-use fields
  • playgrounds
  • restrooms (open April-November)
  • walking path
  • water table feature

This park is long and skinny and there are 2 separate playgrounds that are not close together, one at each end (see my map photo below). It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood so there's just street parking. There are restrooms near the playground on the left but none at the playground on the right.

First I'll discuss the older playground at the top left.  It's large and includes 2 baby swings, 2 sling swings, and 2 large play structures. One of them is basically a huge rock wall-style climber with monkey bars in the center. The regular structure has 3 different slides, a steering wheel, 2 different rock walls, assorted bars and poles, a bouncing bar, and a storefront. This is a great playground if you have a climber!

The covered pavilion and restroom buildings are right next to the playground

Steering wheel and telescope

Pretend windows

The new playground built in late 2022 is very natural, with lots of wood and rope netting. It also has a unique metal water feature. It's unlike anything I've seen at a public playground around here.

There are several troughs with manipulative objects.
