Owl Hollow Park, Ellisville

Location:
Palm Bay/Covallis Court, Ellisville, MO 63011

Amenities: playground, basketball court

Website: http://www.ellisville.mo.us/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={7360F4CA-52DB-4B5D-9154-6FE89647F56E}

Playground ground cover: wood chips

The playground at Owl Hollow Park is small, just 2 slides on a play structure. Nothing really for toddlers, but mine did enjoy the enclosed slide with me at the top and Daddy at the bottom to help her slide. The equipment is old and has some graffiti on it (words you don't want your kids to know). The park is a neighborhood park and as such it does not have a parking lot, you park on the street and walk in.

Thanks to a reader, we discovered this park also has a swingset, free-standing slide and spring toy around the corner from the play structure described above. These are newer than the other play structure at the park. There are 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings. Even with this area of the playground, there is not much for toddlers, but I've added toddlers to the labels on this park because of the baby swings.

  1. I could swear there was more there. I have a picture of Sam and Eva on this like mini teeter totter thing. I was thinking it was two parts, like this one you pictured and then you kept following the path and there was more ... but it was September when we were there so maybe I am not remembering well.

  2. We didn't go further on down the path past the basket ball court, I thought that was it. It was 90 out today and we were HOT! I'll have to go back and see if there is more.
