This is a newly developed park in Wildwood (there is no sign up at the entrance yet), but it is adjacent to the Frisco, Wabash and Pacific Railroad. The park has 2 sling swings and 2 baby swings. Normally, I would recommend any playground with baby swings for toddlers on up, but this particular playground I cannot recommend for any child younger than 6. Our group had several children in it, aged 1-5, and NONE of them were able to play on this playground, it was just too challenging for them. One of the moms went down the slide (see photo below) and upon catching her balance at the bottom said, "that slide is not safe for anyone!" A five year old girl climbed up the ladder, looked down the slide and said "I'm scared," and went back down the ladder. The original slide, described above, was recalled by the manufacturer, and replaced in summer 2012 with the slide pictured below. The rope merry-go-round is unique, and the jungle gym looks neat and I'm sure older school-aged kids would have a great time here, there just isn't anything for younger children to play on. The playground is in full sun.
