Moody Park (Longacre Park) has a neat wooden playground, designed in 1995 by the children of Fairview Heights and built by local volunteers. The playground, called the "Recreation Station," offers kids areas for imaginative play, slides, baby swings, sling swings, tire swings, a sand box, tunnels, places to climb and more. The entire playground is fenced in, and there is also a fence that divides the older children's area from the toddler area of the playground. The restrooms adjacent to the playground even have changing tables. There is also a lake near the playground.

There are also 2 other smaller playgrounds in the park (you'll pass these on the way to the big playground). They have slides, swings, and one has a merry-go-round and adaptive swing.
