The older kid playground is pretty large at Kirkwood Park. There are multiple slides and places to climb, 4 sling swings, a saucer swing, sit and spins, a rock to climb, hand-over-hand rings and more. There is a metal slide which can be used for kids with a cochlear implant. There is also a spray fountain near this playground.

My camera battery died before I could get any shots of the playground for younger children, but I found one online to share. It has smaller slides, baby swings and a sand area, with a sand table and area to dig in. There is a water spigot nearby to clean up after playtime. This playground is separated from the bigger kid playground which is good to keep your little ones safe from the wild big kids but would be hard to watch kids of multiple ages.
