Playground ground cover: Wood chips
This park is developed and maintained in a cooperative partnership agreement with the Parkway School District. There are two playgrounds. The first is completely fenced in, with a gate. It is geared toward younger kids, with a play structure with a couple slides and hand-over-hand bars. There is also a raised sandbox that is currently empty in the corner.
The larger playground is at the back of the lot. Separated from the fenced-in playground by a large paved lot with four-square boards, basketball hoops, and a large painted map of the United States. The playground behind has 12 sling swings, two large climbing structures, a dome jungle gym, and a couple other free-standing play units.
