Kokomo Joe's opened in February 2013 in the former Incredible Pizza building. While you can still see some remnants of Incredible Pizza, Kokomo Joe's focus is on fun instead of food. Gone are the turnstyles at the entrance where you have to buy something just to get in the building. You pay for what you want to do. A game card gets you access to arcade games and little rides for preschoolers (3 person carousel, single horse and race car). An attraction bracelet gets you into the inflatable area where you can bounce and slide all day. Older kids will enjoy the bumper cars and go karts, and the whole family will love the glow in the dark mini golf, themed for Route 66.

I particularly liked that the game/attraction room was spaced out, so I didn't feel like we were crammed in with a ton of people and the noise level wasn't too bad either. The games/attractions for younger kids are located at the entrance of the room, with the things for older kids farther back, so you can avoid even having your "too short to ride" kids even seeing the go karts.

My only complaint was the food situation. They have a snack bar, but only one register was open, which made for placing orders incredibly slow. They do not allow refills on soda. It took 20 minutes for my mozzarella cheese sticks that I ordered to come out.

With some tweeks to the food situation, Kokomo Joe's will be at the top of our list for indoor fun, even though it's a 30 minute drive from our house!

This is an update as of August 2016....they do allow free refills on soda now and the food situation is much better. We went on a Tuesday and had a complete blast! We played mini golf, some arcade games, had some ice cream, and played in Bounce Beach. I have added some new photos as well at the bottom. They have different specials on different days also... so check their website before you visit to see if there's a deal happening. Wednesday they have toddler time which is from 10-noon, and costs $6.75 plus tax. That includes Bounce Beach wristband and a lunch of hot dog, cookie, and drink.

Bounce Beach requires socks, so don't forget them! It is comprised of 2 rooms, the first has an indoor playground and a plain square bounce house. It also has a BEAM interactive projection game system on the floor. My daughter enjoyed popping the bubbles and kicking the soccer ball around.

The second room has an obstacle course inflatable and a slide inflatable. There are also chairs and cubbies for their shoes. There is a short wall so you can see the arcade from here.

The kids loved the umbrella on the pretzel. The food was actually very good, I was impressed.
