This is an amazing playground. So much for the kids to do! The entire playground is fenced with only 2 exits, so you can let the kids explore. There's a toddler area with a butterfly to climb on, a small slide and a tunnel. The larger playground area has a spinning rope merry-go-round which was probably the biggest hit of the playground (although my 3 year old was terrified of it). The playground has ramps to enter it, and several slides, including one that is metal. There's also a roller slide on the playground. There's a music area (although the instruments are situated a little too high for little kids to reach). The swing area has 2 sling swings, 2 baby swings and 2 adaptive swings, plus a saucer swing.

Be sure to pack a swimsuit and towel because there's also a sprayground area with a shallow man-made creek, a waterfall and sprays that shoot up randomly.

There are some shade elements attached to the playground structure, but I am disappointed in the pergola located next to the toddler playground. With a few more boards across the top, it would provide shade to parents watching their kids play. We set up out picnic blanket underneath the playground so we could have some shade for our lunch (the shelter was being used and there are 2 additional small shaded shelters that over look the playground, but each only has 1 picnic table and those were already claimed by the time we got to the park). Our picnic spot was ok, except that right above us were foot pedals that rang bells whenever the kids above stomped on them. The restrooms have a changing table in the family restroom, but not in the mens and womens.

  1. This was a great playground. A lot of sun, but the Apple seating area and covered pavilions and the water feature made for great cooling time. My grandson's LOVED it!
