Bohrer Park, South County

Location: 5705 South Lindbergh, St. Louis, MO 63123

Amenities: playground, picnic shelter, trails, sprayground, restroom

Playground ground cover: pea gravel

The playground was broken up into several sections. There was the main play area, then off under a nice shady tree was 2 baby swings. A little further down the path was a little horse that bobbed back and forth. Then there were sling swings, and then there was the spray pole. There was a sign up that said it was closed for the season (note we visited on August 1 - the middle of the summer). The playground seems old and is full of pea gravel which is not my fav. There was a small lake there that was almost completely empty and had some trash in it. If they would fix those things it would be a nice little park. There was a concrete tunnel that ran from one area to another that I am sure it's popular with the kids.

Thank you Angie for this review and the photos!

  1. I would love to know the name of the tree planted down the path along side of the pavilion. The way I would describe this tree is a weeping willow tree. I Love this tree and would like to plant one. we took great family pics in the tree.
