Indian Camp Creek Park, Foristell

Location: 2679 Dietrich Rd, Foristell, MO 63348

Website: http://www.sccmo.org/665/Indian-Camp-Creek-Park

Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips, poured rubber, astroturf

Amenities: Camping area, 2 playgrounds, creek, disc golf, fishing (bluegill, bass, and catfish), and multi-use trails.

This park is wonderful for kids of all ages to explore. The main playground is huge! And right off the playground is a path that leads straight down to a creek. I wish we had brought nets and things because you could see little minnows swimming in the water.

This is the first playground near the entrance It's a huge wooden structure featuring rock walls, slides, steering wheels, tunnels, and lots of other things. There is also a tire swing, a teeter-totter, 2 sling swings, and 2 baby swings.

These steps lead up to the bathrooms. The path to the creek is right by the pavilion.

This is the coolest teeter-totter ever!

If you look at the map, it says there are actually 4 play areas, but the other 2 are just swings near pavilions.

There is also another area that has a lookout and a historical interpretive site which is a "ghost structure" display of the original log cabin believed to have been built in the late 1800s.

This is the new playground, and it is amazing. It's huge and has everything. It was built in late 2021.  Some people have expressed concern that it's right next to a lake and there is no fence. Also one of the towers is closed because supposedly a child fell through the ropes from the 3rd level to the bottom.

Beautiful lake and trail next to the playground

Water spout area

Adaptive swing, sling swings, and baby swings

Xylophone and chimes

Restrooms

My kids loved this feature, and I haven't seen it at any other playground. It's a Viking swing! It's a rope that swings forwards and back.

Large covered pavilion right next to the playground

These rings spin around and it's fun to try to get to the other side on them.
