Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips

This is a really nice playground. It's large with lots of things to do including a saucer swing, a spider web climber, 2 baby swings, drums, beams, slides, and more. It looks fairly new and is beautifully landscaped. There is one larger play structure and one smaller one. It felt very peaceful and quiet here. We really enjoyed this space.

There is a huge open field behind the playground, filled with amazing trees that look like Live Oaks. They have branches so close to the ground that look great for climbing.

Nice restrooms that were still open in the winter!

Because I was there in the winter I totally missed this awesome water feature! It's not exactly a spray ground, but there is a hand pump at the top of the hill, and after you pump the water out it flows down this creek bed. There is a little dam and you can lift up the door or let it flow over like a waterfall. There's something similar at Ferris Park. Any water on a hot day is refreshing!
