This gym is awesome! We did the $12 open play ($10 for each additional kid). Adults do not pay anything. You can stay and play for as long as you like, there is no time limit. They don't have set open gym times, anytime they are open for business you can come in and play, no appointment necessary. My daughter liked everything but I think the zipline was her favorite activity. This place is specially designed for kids with sensory issues but anyone is welcome. It's for kids of all ages and abilities and they even have drop in service available but call the owner to discuss the details. They just opened so I got the impression he's still working out some details.
When you come in they have you sign a liability waiver like you do at Sky Zone and the bounce places, they add you into their computer (one time thing) and then you're ready to play. It's not a large place so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. They have 2 restrooms and a quiet room. They have a snack/craft area, train table, a kitchen, dress up area, and other random toys as well.
They had a large selection of Melissa and Doug products for sale also. We're driving to Florida soon so the glitter sticker books caught my eye and they were only $4.99 each!
The only negative thing I will say is that some of these swinging things are close to poles so there is plenty of opportunity to crash into kids running by if it's busy or poles or other swinging things. Also $22 is a little steep for us (for both of my kids to play) so we prob won't be able to do it all the time, but overall I really like this place and I am glad they opened up here.
The ten specialized pieces of sensory equipment are:
- Zip Line
- Zip Box with Slide
- Crash Pit
- Carpet Swing
- Hammock Swing
- Climbing Structures
- Bolster Swing
- Swivel Rotators with Webbing
dress up area
The carpet swing was a huge hit
Arts and Crafts supplies
I didn't get a photo of the area where you first enter, but there are benches and cubbies for storing your shoes and purses. They also had a water cooler and dixie cups. The kids worked up quite a thirst!
