This playground is next to the historic Haskell Playhouse. It has an interesting history that you can learn about on the website. 

The playground has 2 parts, an older part, and a newer part.

This is an older playground but you can tell it's well maintained. There is street parking but I didn't see any restrooms. There is a walking trail and some cool older concrete climbing things next to the playground.  

There are 4 sling swings and 2 baby swings.

The play structure has maze boards, a rock wall, a bridge, some slides, a tic tac toe board, and lots of bars and poles. 

Looks like this is an old spray pole that isn't functioning anymore.

Hellrung Park, Alton

Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips

This park has a great skatepark. It also has a playground and basketball courts. 

The play structure is large and has a rock wall, monkey bars, a small tunnel, a rock wall, zip line, and lots of bars and poles. 

This 'log' bends in the middle when you jump on it. So fun!

There are 4 sling swings and 2 baby swings, Nice that they are shaded!

Cute alligator and hippo 

The baby play structure has some slides and a little bridge. 

I didn't see any restroom which is a shame!
