Legion Park, Eureka

Location: 333 Bald Hill Rd., Eureka, MO 63025

Website: http://www.eureka.mo.us/departments/parks-recreation/park-locations-amenities/

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This park has a new playground as of June 2018. There are lots of big umbrellas over it so it's partly shady as well. The only negative is that the restrooms are in the community center and if that's closed you'll have to go across the street to Lions Park and that's a bit of a walk for little ones.

There is one play structure and it's got ramps so it's accessible to everyone. It has bridges, slides, fun activity boards, a rocking boat, rock walls, pretend storefronts, and more. What a great addition to Eureka and a huge improvement over the playground that used to be here!

The old community center is in this park. The Timbers of Eureka is the new rec center but they still use this building for lots of community events and classes. There are also ball fields here as well.

Timbers of Eureka Pool, Eureka

Location: 1 Coffey Park Ln, Eureka, MO 63025

Website: https://www.eureka.mo.us/449/Super-Splashers

The Timbers of Eureka pool offers a kiddie play structure, a current channel (lazy river), a lap pool with a diving board, and a water slide (must be 40″ tall). During tot time only the kiddie area is open.

Tot Time is for kids aged 5 and under and it costs $4 for each non-resident child, adults are free.

As you can see they have zero entry which is great for the little guys. They also have jets at the shallow end and "water umbrellas" as my kids call them.

The open flume slide has a lot of stairs!
