This is a 65-acre park with two lakes. Buchheit lake is 18 acres. The total area of both lakes is 22.5 acres. Kayak and stand up paddle board rentals are available to be used on Buchheit Lake. Added in 2020, this playground is in the Miralago subdivision off of Mid Rivers Mall Dr. It is designed for children from 2-7 and it's located near pavilion 1.  The play structure has a tunnel, bridge, steering wheel, slides, rock wall, and more. The trail around Buchheit Lake has been extended to the nearby Calvary Church trails which circle around their property near Dardenne Creek. This new trail extension will now provide walkers and riders access to a 2.1-mile loop beginning at Scott A. Lewis Park.

Centennial Farms and Orchard, Augusta

Location: 199 Jackson St, Augusta, MO 63332      636-228-4338

Website: http://centennialfarms.biz/

This farm has been around forever, and in the fall it's really cute. "Pumpkin picking has started and our yearly transformation into Pumpkin Fantasyland is underway. Walk into our farmstead and be surrounded by pumpkin characters and Halloween fun. We decorate with full-size pumpkin and gourd figures representing farm folks, storybook characters, and some of your favorite movie characters. There are aliens and a crashed spaceship. A graveyard has some very humorous inscriptions, most of them from real cemeteries. Mixed in with the figures are hundreds of pumpkins from minis to some big ones."

That red barn is 160 years old and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
