Trolley Park, Maplewood

Location: 7700 Jerome Ave, Maplewood, MO 63143

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber (with a big area of pea gravel next to the playground)

The only thing here is one play structure, one bench, and a big open field. There are monkey bars, a slide, a zip line, a balance beam, 2 rocking horses, and a big pit of rocks. My kids love playing in those rocks!

Thies Farm and Greenhouses, Normandy

Location: 4215 N. Hanley Rd., St. Louis, MO 63121

Website: https://www.thiesfarm.com/

This Pumpkinland is almost identical to the one in Maryland Heights, but just a tad smaller. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one. They have tons of haybale fun, a pirate ship, a small petting zoo, slides, pumpkin patch, tractor rides, corn maze, tire swings, zipline, and face and pumpkin painting on the weekend.

Just for clarification purposes, there are TWO different Thies farm companies. Thies Farm was owned by 2 brothers but they split up, so one is now Thies Farm and Market (Maryland Heights) and one is Thies Farm and Greenhouses (Hanley and St. Charles).  All of them have Pumpkinlands and they're all very similar (St. Charles is much smaller than the other 2 locations).

Thies Farm (Pumpkinland), Maryland Heights

Location: 14101 Creve Coeur Airport Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63146

Amenities: Pumpkinland play area, pumpkins, pony rides, face painting, farm animals

Pumpkinland is a ton of fun! The Pumpkinland play area is $9 for children 2-14 and $7 for age 15+ (2023 season pricing). It is open throughout the week and contains slides, hay bale mazes, tire merry-go-rounds, swings, a zipline, a tractor hayride, a small corn maze, a pirate ship playhouse, and more. Depending on how active your kids are, you could easily spend a couple hours here in Pumpkinland.

On weekends, Thies Farm also offers pony rides (extra fee) and face painting (extra fee), and there are farm animals that you can see for free - sheep, a pig, a cow, and a llama. They also have pumpkins that kids can decorate (extra fee).
