Preservation Park, Town and Country

Location: 12625 N. Outer 40, Town & Country, MO 63141

Amenities: picnic shelter, playground, sand volleyball, tennis courts, paved and wood chip trails, restroom, athletic fields

Website: http://www.town-and-country.org/141/Parks-Recreation

Playground ground cover: Poured Rubber

Preservation Park is right off highway 64/40, which means you hear traffic sounds, so it isn't as peaceful as some parks, but it does offer a nice playground with slides/climbing structures for both toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children, as well as 4 sling swings and 2 baby swings. There's a sand volleyball court right next to the playground (which doubles as a sandbox, at least for my toddler). A picnic shelter and restrooms are adjacent to the playground. The park also has tennis courts, a paved trail which goes around the CBC High School fields and a wood chip trail thru the woods.

The smaller play structure has steering wheels, tic tac toe board, ABC board, slides, and various bars and poles.

The larger playstructure has slides, a tic tac toe board, steering wheels, and various bars and poles.

The covered pavilion had 6 tables inside and has a grill as well.

This playground is older but it's in great condition. It's clean and not very busy and has restrooms and a pavilion right off the playground. This is a good playground for all ages to enjoy.

Longview Farm Park, Town and Country

Location: 13525 Clayton Road, Town and Country, MO 63141

Amenities: playground, paved trails, lake, picnic shelter, restrooms, horses, creek

Website: http://www.town-and-country.org/151/Longview-Farm-Park

Playground ground cover: Poured Rubber

This park is better known as "horsey park" among the toddler set because of the horses here (The horses are owned by Equine Assisted Therapy which is an amazing organization). It is really a fun place to visit for toddlers because of the awesome playground and the horses, and they also have a creek! This is a great place to spend some time, and it should be on your must visit park list.

The parking lot is next to the barn, and the playground is right next to the barn as well.

Free little library

Restrooms and drinking fountain and a covered pavilion attached to the barn as well

There are 2 play structures, this one is for the little guys. It has a tunnel, steering wheel, tic tac toe board, bars and poles, and a slide.

They have a table full of wooden blocks also

The larger play structure has a couple slides, a bench, a tunnel, and bars and poles.

There are 4 sling swings and 2 baby swings

Horses in the pasture with beautiful walking trails everywhere

The paths through the woods go down to a really nice creek
