Broughton Park, Brentwood

Location: Corner of Eulalie and Mary Avenues, Brentwood, MO 63144

Amenities: playground, picnic shelter

Website: http://brentwoodmo.org/index.aspx?NID=497

Playground ground cover: wood chips

This park is very small, nestled in a residential neighborhood in Brentwood. The sign says it's for kids 5-12 but it has 2 baby swings, and my 3 year old enjoyed playing here. There are 2 slides, a bridge, and some things to climb on and that's about it. There aren't any restrooms either. When you don't feel like chasing your kids around a big busy park, smaller places like these are nice.

Knaust Park, O'Fallon

Playground Ground Cover: Rubber Mats

This park is kind of secluded because it's at the end of a neighborhood cul de sac. But it's a great park so i recommend checking it out.  The park also has a quarter-mile walking path.

They have 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings

The play structure has a rock wall, bars and poles, several slides, an abacus, a bridge, a small tunnel, and a steering wheel.

Soccer field next to the playground

There are 2 negatives, there are no bathrooms and it's in the full sun. However, if you live in the area it's worth checking out.

King Park, Olivette

Location: 1491 Dielman Rd, St. Louis, MO 63132

Website: https://stlouiscountymo.gov/st-louis-county-departments/parks/places/king-park/

Playground Ground Cover: Rubber Mats

King park was acquired as the result of a large urban renewal project in the unincorporated area of Elmwood Park. On July 17, 1968 the area was dedicated as Martin Luther King, Jr. County Park. The part was renovated in 2000 with improvements to the restrooms, playground, and shelter.

The pavilion is large and the bathrooms are close. There is one play structure and it's large with a nice variety of activities.

There are lots of bars and poles, and a rolling log which is always challenging.

They have a bridge, a tunnel, and a nice gear board

There are tic tac toe boards, slides, and a rock wall as well.

And part of the playground is shaded! This playground is great if you ask me and my kids!

The park has a small entrance off St. Vincent and another one at Eads and California.
There is a walking path around the perimeter and a playground that is in excellent shape.
There are 2 shaded areas that were once streets (Eads and Ohio) and are now part of the park.
The park is  a multi-purpose field.

The playground just has this one play structure but it's newer and nice. There are 2 slides, a rock wall, and lots of bars and poles. There are no restrooms but it's right behind a Dollar Store and they have public restrooms.

The playground is brand new as of 2017.  It's a small structure and includes 2 slides, bubble window,  rock wall, and stepping stones.

The Red Schoendienst Field is well used. This park was very well kept and is a popular park for Normandy residents. This is the only Normandy park that has a playground.
