Playground Ground Cover: Rubber mats

This is a small park. Amenities include baseball/softball field, picnic Shelter/BBQ Pit, playground, and multi purpose courts.  It's tucked in the back of a residential neighborhood and is pretty quiet. There are fields and open places to play and a decent-sized pavilion at the playground site.

There are no real bathrooms but they have port a pottys

Basketball court

They don't really have a play structure, just random things spread around. There is a spinning thing, a chain climber, another spinning thing, a four seater spring toy, and some musical instruments.

There are 2 sling swings, one baby swing, and one adaptive swing.

Playground Ground Cover: Poured rubber

This park is in the LaSalle neighborhood. There are 2 play structures, one for kids over 5 and one for kids under 5. The park has a softball field, a newish playground (replaced sometime between 2013 and 2017), a former rollerskating rink which is no longer there and is now used for basketball, a boxing gym, indoor pool, and a community center.

This play structure is a replica of the old school slides that looked like rockets. Pretty cool! It also has a climbing wall, some slides, and various bars and poles.

The smaller play structure has an alphabet board, some slides, and various bars and poles.

There are 6 sling swings

Oak Brook Elementary, Ballwin

Location: 510 Big Bend, Ballwin, MO 63021

Website: https://www.parkwayschools.net/oakbrook

Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips

This playground is totally amazing. However because it's at an elementary school you can only play there when school is not in session. There are 2 huge playgrounds-one in the front of the school and one in back. The one in front is completely enclosed with a fence and gate.

This front playstructure has a bridge, pretend storefront, slides, stepping stones, tic tac toe boards, rock wall, and tons of bars and poles. It's all wood chips and enclosed by a fence with a latching gate.

There are 4 sling swings here, lots of benches, but not any shade.

This is the back playground. You can walk or drive around to the back of the building to get to this playground.

There are lots of opportunity to climb here with several different climbing structures.

Interesting climber

6 sling swings

These playgrounds are great! Just wish there were bathrooms.

Church of the Shepherd Community Playground, St. Charles

Location: 1601 Woodstone Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304

Website: https://churchoftheshepherd.com/

Playground Ground Cover: Rubber mats

This church just built a great playground and they want everyone to use it! There is a fence around it so it's contained and the view is amazing.

They have that moving balance beam that is so fun!

They have a spinning ball and a dome climber

There are lots of slides and pretend boards

The picnic benches are in the full sun and if you need a bathroom you'd have to go inside when the building is unlocked.

This is a very toddler friendly playground with steering wheels and maze boards and being inside a fence. Also there are no swings.
