Brentwood Sports Complex, Brentwood

Location: 9100 Russell Avenue (at the intersection with Bremerton) Brentwood, MO 63144

Website: https://www.brentwoodmo.org/497/Parks

Playground ground cover: Poured Rubber

At 13.5 acres in size, this park is home to the Brentwood Days festival each September and contains a beautifully maintained baseball field, two softball fields, youth soccer field, playground, restrooms, and a pavilion. This playground was replaced in Spring 2019 and it's a huge improvement over what was here.

There is a fence along the wall closest to the parking lot but the entire playground is not fenced in.

Climbing boulders and log balance beams.

Pirate ship!

This area of Brentwood is pretty industrial.

I'm glad they installed some shade for the parents.

The whale is really cool and fun to climb.

Stand alone slide

This map shows the restroom building circled in red on the right. The playground is circled in red on the left, so you can see it's a bit of a hike. I'm not sure if the restrooms are open year round either. I didn't see a pavilion so I think it's over by the restrooms.

Dream Play Recreation, Chesterfield -PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED

Location: 17373 Edison Ave, Chesterfield, MO 63005

Website: https://www.dreamplayrec.com/

 From their website:

"We have one of the largest and most customer-friendly retail indoor showrooms in the country. In our Chesterfield Showroom, you can explore our playsets, climb the rock walls, race down the slides and spin down our spiral slides! You can also enjoy shooting hoops on our top-of-the-line basketball goals and jump on our (3) revolutionary Springfree trampolines."

They have 12 large swingsets to play on, 3 enclosed trampolines, one smaller one that isn't enclosed, and a basketball area. They have restrooms with changing tables and drinking fountains also. This place is very similar to Rainbow but Rainbow has closed and now this place is the official retailer of Rainbow swingsets in the area. The floor is rubber mats so it's soft. There are a variety of different configurations of the swingsets, and there are plenty of rock walls, slides, tire swings, baby swings, trapeze bars, rope ladders, and sling swings to play on.

They don't have age restrictions but I think kids under 2 wouldn't be able to do much except swing and chase after the balls. $5 for 2 hours of play is great in my book and my kids love playing here!

Just a friendly reminder, they do close open play periodically when they get really busy. (Typically in the spring and sometimes early summer).

Lots of basketballs and hoops. Only one is really low enough for the little guys though.

This pirate ship one is awesome!
