Quail Ridge is a huge beautiful park with so much to do.  There are three big playground areas with swings and small climbing structures throughout the park.  The walking trails are stroller friendly with plenty of shade.  There are a lot of hills.  All three of the play structures are recommended for children 5-12.  The play structures are in full sun.

The restrooms at the group picnic area were very nice and clean.

Amenities: playground, picnic shelter, restrooms, trails

Website: https://www.ofallon.mo.us/fort-zumwalt-park

Playground ground cover: rubber mats

This large playground is partly shaded and huge! There is a toddler area with several smaller slides and a "fort" theme. There are 4 baby swings and 4 sling swings.  A picnic shelter and restrooms are adjacent to the playground area. The playground gets some shade, you can tell it used to get more because there are several stumps of large trees that must have died and been cut down since the playground was built. There are also lots of benches in the center of the playground area for parents.

During the Christmas season, the park is decorated with lights for the city's Celebration of Lights display. See their website for more details.
