Ivory Crockett Park, Webster Groves

Location: Bounded by Bell and Almentor Aves, Webster Groves, MO 63119

Website: http://www.webstergroves.org/178/Ivory-Crockett-Park

Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips

The park features 2 fenced-in basketball courts, a tennis court, a ball field, a soccer field, and a playground area. There are some unique things here including a merry-go-round, a car, and a spinning disc thing that my kids liked. There are 2 baby swings, 4 sling swings, rock walls, interesting balls to climb in, tunnels, and various other climbers.

The bathrooms were scary. No doors, really rundown, and I didn't feel safe in there.

More spinning things

This disc they are laying on spins around, they really enjoyed playing on it.

Avery Park, Kirkwood

Location: 221 Avery Dr.,  Kirkwood, MO 63122

Amenities: playground, half-court basketball, picnic shelter, sprayground

Website:  https://www.kirkwoodparksandrec.org/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/30/444

Playground ground cover: poured rubber

Avery Park is a small park, but the city of Kirkwood did an amazing job laying out the site. The playground has a swing set with 2 sling swings and 2 baby swings. There are 2 unique climbing structures, one for preschoolers and one for school-aged kids. My 3-year-old loved the preschool structure, with steps to climb around, a tunnel, and a slide. There are also drums, but the drums are set up pretty high for young kids, my 3-year-old can reach but for kids any smaller, they'd be too high. The school-aged structure just has a rope climbing wall and suspended circular climbing rings. There are also 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings. The large trees which border the park bring shade and help seclude the small park from the surrounding neighborhood.

Parking is on-street only (watch for no parking signs). Unfortunately, there are no restroom facilities at this park.

This pocket park is small and best suited for toddlers. There are 2 play structures.  The smaller one has a few slides on it and a steering wheel. The larger one has some slides, a chain climber, a maze board, and other cool climbing things. There is one baby swing and one sling swing, some benches, a picnic table, some drinking fountains, and no bathrooms.
