St. Louis Carousel, Faust Park, Chesterfield

Location: Faust Park 15055 Faust Park, Chesterfield, MO 63017

Amenities: Carousel, gift shop

Website: https://stlouiscarousel.com/

Located at Faust Park, the St. Louis Carousel is a historic carousel from 1929. It was originally installed at the Forest Park Highlands amusement park, which burned to the ground in 1963. The carousel was one of the only things left standing. The carousel is 3 horses deep around (there are 2 deer as well that have real deer antlers on them). There are also a couple benches for those who do not want to ride a horse. Children under age 4 must be accompanied by an adult onto the carousel, and every rider (children and adults) must have a ticket (currently $2 per ride). Adults can ride on the horses with a young child or stand beside the horse. The St. Louis Carousel hosts children's activities regularly (visit their website for a calendar of events), and there is a party room that can be rented for parties. The gift shop offers lots of unique gifts for kids, and there is no tax charged on purchases.

Sometimes they have tot time where they read a story, have unlimited rides on the carousel, and open the toy room up for 2 hours. It costs about $8 a person. Check their calendar for their schedule.
