Kennedy's Playground, St. Peters

Location: 115 McMenamy Rd., St. Peters, MO 63376

Website: https://unlimitedplay.org/playground/professional-fire-fighters-of-eastern-missouri-playground/

Playground Ground Cover: Rubber mats

This playground is a little hidden. It's on the site of the Professional Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri property, behind a fence. It's the latest from the amazing Unlimited Play company that builds inclusive playgrounds. It's all fireman-themed and opened in late 2021.

There's a bronze statue of a firefighter and a ton of beach volleyball courts. When I pulled in I didn't see the playground so I was totally confused, but fear not! If you park down by where this white car is you'll be close to it.

Walk through these gates and it's straight ahead.

You'll pass a little hut and a bunch of picnic tables.

And you have arrived. There are 2 adaptive swings, 1 sling swing, and 1 baby swing.

Rocking Teeter-totter with a double seat

Seated zip line

The 2 story play structure has ramps, a rock wall, a tunnel, lots of maze boards, a rolley slide, several other slides, a chain climber, and bars and poles.

Modified merry-go-round

Cool fire truck to play in

Not sure about the hours of this hut but it's cute and serves alcohol!

Thanks Unlimited Play for another amazing playground! You can see the others here: https://playstlouis.blogspot.com/2016/04/unlimited-play-playgrounds.html

The second playground is toward the back of the park. The play structure is more for older kids, and has only 1 slide but lots of ladders and stuff to climb on. There are swings near by with 4 sling swings and 2 baby swings. There's also a sand volleyball court in this area of the park.
