Gutneckt-Arrowhead Park, Bel-Ridge

Playground Ground Cover: Grass

Gutknecht-Arrowhead park is a great place to relax with its open spaces, gazebo, a small lake with a water fountain in the center, and a walking path. It was very serene and peaceful, and no one else was there.  It was a bit difficult to find though, there is no signage at all. The sign above is located at a tennis court but not near the playground area. 

Creek

The playground is older and in fair condition. There are 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings. 

There is a free-standing webbed climber, a speaker system, several slides, a rock wall, a steering wheel, and lots of bars and poles. 

If you come down Wales you'll be stopped by these big blocks. There's no place to park and it's a hike to the playground from here.

The best way to go is down Somerset to Wheaton.  You can see the lake in the center of this residential neighborhood.

Pelton Jackson Park, Pine Lawn

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This is a nice playground, unfortunately, someone tried to rip the gate off. The rest of the playground is fenced in though. There is a nice basketball court with bleachers next to the playground. There is a ton of parking but no restrooms. 

Nice covered pavilion

This playground was redone in 2020, and it has climbing walls, several slides, 2 baby swings, 4 sling swings, a chain wall, drums, stepping stones, and lots of bars and poles.
