Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips

This is a really nice playground. It's large with lots of things to do including a saucer swing, a spider web climber, 2 baby swings, drums, beams, slides, and more. It looks fairly new and is beautifully landscaped. There is one larger play structure and one smaller one.  We really enjoyed this space.

 There is a huge open field behind the playground, filled with amazing trees that look like Live Oaks. They have branches so close to the ground that looks great for climbing.

The pavilion has a grill and is right next to the restrooms and the parking lot. It's not huge but at least it's covered.

This is the water feature. It's not exactly a spray ground, but there is a hand pump at the top of the hill, and after you pump the water out it flows down this creek bed. There is a little dam and you can lift up the door or let it flow over like a waterfall. There's something similar at Ferris Park. Any water on a hot day is refreshing!

Arnold Rec Center Indoor Pool, Arnold

The indoor pool is open every day from 11:30-7:00 p.m.

The Little Splashers tot time is only available during the school year/winter. It is from 10-12 so it's a long one at 2 hours. Under 4 is free, and over 4 is $6.

The pool has the following features: Lap Lanes, River, Vortex, and Bubble Bench. The playground has a slide and many sprayers to manipulate.

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This is an enclosed playground for toddlers. It has a small play structure with a slide, a hippo to play in, 2 baby swings, an alligator, and a tire swing. There are a few benches and a drinking fountain but no restrooms. It's partly shaded though!  It's on a residential street so street parking was easy to find.
