McDonald Park, St. Louis City

Location: 4200 Utah St, St. Louis, MO 63116

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

In addition to the playground, this park has a soccer field and a ball field. The playground was replaced in 2018. It's located in Tower Grove South which is a very populated neighborhood. It's also completely enclosed.  The splash pad was added in early 2022. It's a great splash pad with a nice variety of sprayers and pop jets.

There are 2 sling swings and 2 baby swings when you first enter. There is plenty of street parking and also a parking lot adjacent to a warehouse. The warehouse was a bit creepy though because the doors were open and some young men were in there just staring at us.

Restroom building and drinking fountain

There is one large play structure, and it has accessible ramps.   There are stepping stones, slides, maze boards, and lots of bars and poles.

Tot Lot, St. Peters

Location: 259 Bellemeade Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376

Playground Ground Cover: Rubber mats

Yay for enclosed playgrounds! This one is great and was renovated in 2009. There are 2 baby swings, 1 adaptive swing, and 1 sling swing. The bathrooms are close by and so is the parking lot. It's geared more toward kids under 5 but I am sure some grade-schoolers would also enjoy it. They have a modified see-saw, stepping stones, balance beams, steering wheels, rock walls, musical instruments, activity boards, and more!

Brookmount Park, St. Peters

Location: 34 Jane Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376

Website: http://www.stpetersmo.net/st-peters-parks.aspx#Brookmount

Amenities:  Paved trail, play area, portable bathroom, picnic tables, benches

This is the perfect play area for toddlers.  It is set up like a town with play structures representing an ice cream store, a drive-thru restaurant, school, fire station, house, gas station, and a mailbox.  Bring ride on toys and/or bikes and drive on the flat "road" that goes around the play area. There are also swings (2 slings & 2 babies), a slide, a balance beam, and several ride-on toys (police car, motorcycles).  The park is partly shaded.  It is tucked away in a neighborhood and doesn't ever seem to be very busy.
