Rollercade Skating Rink, South County

Location: 11703 Baptist Church Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128      314-842-3845

Website: http://rollercadeskating.com/

Roller skating is so fun and reminds me of my youth. I went with my mom's club friends a few years ago and my legs were on FIRE. No idea how I skated all night as a kid! I brought my daughter here for a birthday party and I think 5 years old is kind of on the young side for this activity. I think this is best suited for grade schoolers. My son fell after 5 minutes out there and we were scared he broke his wrist but thankfully he did not.

Their hours change seasonally but usually, they are open Tuesdays 7-9pm, Wednesdays 7-9pm, Friday 7-10:30pm, Saturdays 2-4, and 7-10, and Sundays 2-4, and 4:30 - 6:30.

One thing to remember is that they take CASH ONLY.

They have some concessions and the prices are reasonable.

The music was great and my daughter had fun here. The skates are rather old but they will exchange if you have any issues.

Larson Park, Webster Groves

Location: 520 West Kirkham Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119

Website: http://mo-webstergroves2.civicplus.com/177/Larson-Park

Playground Ground Cover: Poured rubber, wood chips

Amenities: Ballfields, tennis courts, playground, trails, fire pit, pavilion, and a creek.

This playground is really fun. It's bug-themed and has some cool features. It has 2 baby swings, 4 sling swings, 1 play structure for older kids and 1 for younger kids, a free-standing rock wall, a baseball-themed tic tac toe board, and bug accents everywhere! This playground is partially shaded and has lots of benches, plus a big open space for the kids to run right next to it.

The poured rubber even used to have bugs in them, but alas, the playground has since gotten new flooring.

Back in 2015, this sign was here. It wasn't here today so I am assuming the water is now safe? But still kind of worries me if the sign was here at one point and isn't now. Enter at your own risk I guess.
