This farm has been around for over 25 years. They offer free hayrides, a petting zoo, a free straw maze (bring your flashlight), jump in the bounce house, ride a horse during weekends in October, pick out a pumpkin, grab a carving kit, and take home some candy apples and cider. Some activities are only available on the weekends but they are open every day and there's no admission fee.

This place was small but offered a lot of the same things everyone else does and their prices are reasonable.

 

Eckert's Farm, Belleville IL

Eckert's changes throughout the year, depending on the season. They have 3 farm locations, and this farm is considered to be the main one. They also have Grafton and Millstadt which are seasonal and not open all year round. Their apple and pumpkin fests have an admission fee which gets you access to everything in the corral. 

The fun corral is a permanent fixture here and inside there are various activities, such as mini golf, sandbox, petting zoo, and pedal tractors. Most of the rides and extra activities are only operated on the weekends or during their many seasonal festivals.

The Garden Gift Shop

They have free outdoor concerts with food trucks. They also have cooking classes, a restaurant, a cider shed, and lots of special events throughout the year.  There is another orchard really close to Eckerts called Brauetigams and it is another great option. Plus they have the best apple cider donuts and slushies!
