Sports Throne Mini Golf, Columbia IL

Location: 2400 Ramsey Rd., Columbia, IL 62236

Website: https://sportsthrone.business.site/

Their website is lacking and the course isn't in great shape. They claim the course has a jungle theme but the only "jungley" thing remaining is a ceramic lion. Looking at old photos there used to be a giraffe, a zebra, and tiki torches but those are long gone. There are 18 holes and I like the blue color but this course seems pretty neglected.

The bushes are so overgrown they're taking up half the path.

So is this on an honor system? I don't understand how that works...

South City YMCA Skate Park, St. Louis City

Location: 3150 Sublette Ave., St. Louis, MO 63139

Website: https://gwrymca.org/locations/south-city-family-ymca

This skate park is right outside the YMCA on the left of the parking lot. I believe you have to pay to use this skate park, at least that's what I read. But I don't know if people actually check to make sure you've paid before you skate here.

You can see the concrete skate park next to the YMCA building on the right. Incidentally, the old "Lunatic Asylum" is right next to the skate park. I got to tour it in 2019 for its 150th anniversary and it was really cool! We got to go up in the dome and the views were incredible!

Playground ground cover: poured rubber

This is pretty much just your average neighborhood park. Not very large but the playground is nice. There are 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings. The bathrooms are pretty old but functional. You could always go have lunch at one of the amazing restaurants on the hill after playing!

The play structure is large and has a tunnel, bridge, several slides, a chain climber, and tons of bars and poles.

They also have a water feature that sprays water
